Look No Further

Look No Further is really two buildings joined by one big deck. The main house has the kitchen, the living room and a king suite. Across the deck is the game house, with two more king suites, a bunk nook and a room full of things to play. Together they sleep twelve, and both buildings are one level inside.

The main house is open and tall, with a vaulted pine ceiling, wood beams and a wall of tall windows. A gas fireplace sits under a TV, with dark leather seating around it. The kitchen has white cabinets, a navy island with stools, a stainless range and a long dining table with benches on one side. The king suite has a navy tufted bed under a row of tall windows. Its bathroom has a navy double vanity, a freestanding soaking tub and a glass walk-in shower with blue-veined tile.

The game house is where the afternoons go. The room holds a ping pong table, a shuffleboard table, a foosball table and two arcade cabinets, one of them Mortal Kombat. A small kitchenette has a mini fridge and a red microwave, so snacks do not mean a trip back across the deck. The two king bedrooms each have a bath with a walk-in shower. The bunk nook is built into the wall, with a ladder up to the top bunk and a bed below, and it sleeps six. A washer and dryer stack up beside it.

The covered deck runs along the back with a hot tub, an outdoor sofa and chairs, a gas grill, a stone fireplace and a long table that seats a crowd. A TV hangs on the wall. A carved wooden Bigfoot stands against the cabin wall.

The yard has plenty to do. There is a giant chess set on the gravel, a volleyball net, a playset with a spiral slide, a pair of nest swings, a little white playhouse and a hammock down by the retaining wall. A five-hole disc golf course winds through the trees, and the discs hang in a rack by the porch. At night the fire pit, ringed with black Adirondack chairs and a stump for a side table, is lit by the string lights overhead.

Up to four dogs can come along. The cabin is near Broken Bow, Oklahoma, with Beavers Bend State Park and the lake both close.
