Welcome to the Smokey Mountain Retreat, a contemporary, spacious one-story View All Cabins, minutes away from Hochatown’s attractions yet nestled in a serene corner of the town. This cabin, accommodating up to 11 guests, is an ideal haven for 1-2 families or group getaways, combining modern comfort with accessibility.
The cabin is thoughtfully designed with wheelchair accessibility in mind, featuring dual wheelchair ramps and over 2200 square feet of deck space for the ultimate indoor/outdoor experience. Managed personally, we aim to make our guests feel special and well-cared for. Don’t forget to favorite our cabin by clicking the heart in the upper right corner for easy access and sharing!
The Main House boasts two KING suites with ensuite bathrooms, offering a luxurious retreat for guests. Each suite features premium amenities, including Smart TVs, luggage racks, and comfortable sleeping arrangements. The living area welcomes you with vaulted ceilings, expansive windows, and a gas fireplace, creating an inviting space for relaxation and entertainment.
The fully equipped kitchen and dining area showcase modern design with quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances. From the Keurig Coffee Bar to the kid-friendly dishes, everything is provided for a delightful culinary experience. The dining table, complemented by bar stools, ensures that meals are enjoyed without missing out on the fun.
A short stroll across the patio leads to the Detached Bunk House, a 400-square-foot haven for kids with four sets of twin XL adult-size bunks, two twin bunks, and a private bathroom.
The outdoor area is a true retreat with various activities and amenities, including a gas fireplace, sectional sofa, dining tables, gas grill, Hot Tub, and a range of games like Connect 4, Cornhole, Foosball, and more. The path from the back deck leads to an inviting outdoor fire pit, perfect for group gatherings.
Situated on 2 acres, Smokey Mountain Retreat ensures complete seclusion, offering a private getaway. The cabin is pet-friendly for small pets, with an additional fee.
Amenities at Smokey Mountain Retreat include custom Cornhole, Foosball, Roll N Score games, indoor cards, puzzles, family games, horseshoes, Hot Tub, a grill, and an outdoor covered fireplace.
Your stay includes the convenience of keyless check-in, and guests receive a unique door code at least 48 hours before check-in. Please note that outside security cameras are in place for the safety of the property and guests.
As you immerse yourself in the natural surroundings, remember that the cabin is in a rural area, and native plants and animals may make their presence known. While the cabin maintains a strict pest control and cleaning regimen, it’s essential to understand and appreciate the natural habitat.

Beautiful house and beautiful property. Host was super responsive and helpful leading up to our stay, upon arrival and during our trip. She provided recommendations and assisted with directions to the cabin. We loved the firepit and hottub. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space. The electric fireplace on the back deck was also very nice to have. The wifi at the house was also nice since service can be spotty out there. The kitchen came equipped with everything we needed.
Only thing I recommend is using Google maps to get to the house not Apple Maps. The roads are not recognized yet on Apple. Also, if you plan to take an Uber, reserve your Uber rides in advance.
Will definitely stay here again. -
The spacious house was spotless and looked just like the photos. We had 4 grandkids and they loved the bunkhouse, running and playing on the deck, and they were in the hot tub at least 4 times this weekend. We went to Beaver’s Bend twice and enjoyed area restaurants. My daughter in law cooked many meals in the spacious kitchen. Great memories were made this weekend!

Our stay has been nice. The cabin was lovely, perfect location. We had a few things come up that were less than desirable. Those issues have been brought to their attention and I’m hopefully it will be addressed. It did not stop us from enjoying our stay which included 10 people. Would still recommend 100%.

We really enjoyed our stay even though it was very cold. We will definitely make another trip and stay during the warmer months.
