Description

The Cottage at Boulder Lake sits on the water in Broken Bow, with decks on several levels, so a good part of the house gets a look at the water and the pines around it. It sleeps 22 in six bedrooms with six and a half baths, and it’s laid out so a big group can spread out instead of lining up for one bathroom.

Downstairs there are two king suites: one walks out to a front patio, the other slides open onto a back deck facing the water. Up the stairs you’ll find three more kings, with balconies off two of them, and a bunk room with two stacks of three queen bunks each. Every bedroom has a TV and its own bathroom, with a walk-in shower in the king suites. The two main-level suites add a soaking tub.

The living room is two stories tall, with a stone gas fireplace, a big leather sectional and chairs, and tall windows. Seasonal fireplaces run October through May 15. The kitchen has an industrial refrigerator, double ovens, a dishwasher and a marble-look island. A long dining table seats ten, and the bar seats six more. Off the kitchen, you’ll find the laundry room with two washers and two dryers, plus a half bath, which helps on a long weekend with a full house and a pool to dry off from.

Upstairs, the game room loft looks down on the living room. It has a blue-felt pool table, a shuffleboard table, an arcade table, a massage chair and a shelf of board and card games.

The outdoor space is a big part of why people book this one. There’s a large private pool, a hot tub tucked against the side of the house on the lower deck, and a covered deck with a dining table for eight, a built-in grill, and a stone fireplace. A fire pit sits near the water, and the listing notes fishing and kayaking, plus direct ATV trail access if you’re bringing the side-by-sides. An EV outlet is available, and you’ll want to bring your own charger. The Mountain Fork River below the lake dam is a favorite with anglers, and the Beavers Bend State Park trails are the other big reason people come to this area.
