Zen Haven

The floor is the first thing you notice in the main room at Zen Haven. It is dark, glossy stained concrete, under a ceiling that peaks into pine boards and windows that run nearly to the top. The cabin is a small modern one, with dark siding outside and a sloped roof, set on a lot the listing puts at about an acre.

It has one bedroom and a bath and a half, and it sleeps four. The bedroom has a king bed on a woven jute rug, three mountain prints over the headboard and sliding glass doors to the deck. The other two sleep on a queen bed in the living room. In the bathroom, a freestanding tub sits next to a tall window, with a glass walk-in shower beside it and a navy double vanity with two vessel sinks. Robes hang on hooks. The half bath makes up the rest.

The living room has a gas fireplace under a TV, a gray sofa and an orange chair. In the photos there is a record player on a wooden console with a shelf of records, and an acoustic guitar leaning by the window. The kitchen has navy cabinets, open wood shelves, a stainless range and a white island with tall rattan stools. A round table with rattan chairs sits by the glass doors. The coffee counter has a full espresso machine with bottles of flavored syrup lined up beside it, a drip maker as well, and a little sign that says Coffee Time.

Outside, a covered deck wraps along the back with a gas fireplace, a lounge sofa, two wicker egg chairs and a table for eating. A built-in grill sits on a concrete counter at the rail. The hot tub is off by itself. It has its own pergola roof at the end of a raised walkway, with string lights in the trees around it. Out on the gravel, black Adirondack chairs circle a fire pit, and a pair of cornhole boards lean against the deck.

The cabin is outside Hochatown, near Broken Bow, Oklahoma, not far from the lake.
