Nestled in Hochatown, Oklahoma, Choctaw Landing, a 100-bed resort and casino, is set to debut in Spring 2024. Rooted in the vibrant Choctaw culture, the resort celebrates the natural splendor of southeastern Oklahoma.
“Choctaw Landing is your ultimate getaway,” remarked Amy Davis, General Manager of Choctaw Landing.
“Conveniently situated just an hour north of the Oklahoma/Texas border, we’re thrilled to offer this exciting entertainment hub for Oklahomans and our neighbors in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana.”
This all-inclusive resort boasts a myriad of amenities, including 100 guest rooms, featuring 15 luxurious suites. Additionally, it offers three conference rooms and over 4,300 square feet of versatile meeting space. Dining options abound with a hotel restaurant and three outdoor dining/bar venues. Guests can stay active at the resort’s fitness center or unwind at the pool area, complete with nine cabanas, two hot tubs, and three cozy fire pits.
An outdoor amphitheater, accommodating 125 guests, promises memorable evenings under the stars. Thrill-seekers can try their luck at the casino, boasting 600 slot machines and eight table games, including roulette, blackjack, and poker. For convenience, the resort also features a Mercantile offering groceries, a deli, Starbucks, and a 24-pump fuel station.
At the entrance, an interactive circular steel sculpture, crafted by Choctaw Artist Gene Smith, showcases the vibrant Choctaw Social Dancers. Guests are invited to “join the dance,” interact with the dancers, and explore the rich history depicted in each character encircling the sculpture. Throughout the resort, original artwork by multiple Choctaw artists adds to the cultural immersion.
The opening of Choctaw Landing represents more than just a new destination; it’s a significant economic driver for southeast Oklahoma. With an investment of $238 million, the resort will generate over 400 jobs in the region and is projected to have an economic impact of $95 million.
Choctaw Landing beckons travelers to experience the beauty of Choctaw culture and the natural wonders of Oklahoma, promising an unforgettable retreat for all who visit.
