Plenty of Courage

Welcome to the enchanting “Plenty of Courage” cabin, one of the four Wizard of Oz-inspired retreats nestled in the heart of Emerald City, Broken Bow, Oklahoma. This delightful 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin, with its whimsical Oz-themed decor, is a perfect haven for couples or a small family of four.

The living room, designed for your comfort and relaxation, offers a plush leather sectional, cozy throw blankets, a warm gas fireplace, a large-screen HDTV for your entertainment, and a selection of board games to keep you engaged during your stay. The kitchen and dining area are fully equipped with a four-seater island and a comprehensive range of kitchen appliances, including a Keurig K-Cup, a hot water kettle, a toaster, a blender, a waffle maker, and all the necessary dinnerware, pots, and pans, to help you explore your culinary skills.

Both master bedrooms have king-size beds, floating nightstands, closets with hangers, large-screen HDTVs, and ensuite bathrooms with single vanity sinks and shower/tub combos.

The outdoor living area provides a perfect spot to enjoy a meal. It features outdoor dining for six, a hot tub, a gas grill, and a fire pit with seating for four.

Rest assured, this cabin is equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. It features a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience, free Wi-Fi to keep you connected, and gas fireplaces available seasonally from October to May 15th for a cozy ambiance. A processing fee of $50 will be applied to any cancellations that result in a refund for the guests. The maximum occupancy for this cabin is four guests, with no exceptions.

Plenty of Courage cabin is strategically situated, offering easy access to a plethora of popular restaurants, activities, and park amenities. A short drive will take you to Broken Bow Lake, Beavers Bend State Park, renowned hiking trails, local eateries, breweries, wineries, and downtown Hochatown. This prime location ensures you can indulge in all your desired outdoor activities, from boating and hiking to fly fishing and kayaking.

A local tour guide is available in the cabin to ensure you have the best experience during your stay.

Before coming to visit, be sure to bring rain gear and light jackets, as our average annual rainfall is 55″-60″. Good hiking boots are a must for our beautiful scenic trails, and water shoes are a must for our vast shorelines and streams. Insect repellent, sunblock, and other first-aid supplies will also be helpful.

While the cabin provides a starter supply of coffee/filters, cream/sugar, salt/pepper, paper towels, toilet paper, bath soap, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, trash bags, and laundry soap, you may need to bring additional supplies.
