Thoughtfully designed with a unique “split” layout, Sawbuck Lodge ensures comfort and privacy for those traveling with family or friends.
The main house forms the heart of this lodge, featuring an inviting family room adorned with a large sectional sofa and floor-to-ceiling windows framing breathtaking views of majestic pine trees. A stunning stone fireplace adds warmth and ambiance to cozy evenings streaming movies on the 65-inch smart TV or engaging in board games.
The chef’s dream kitchen boasts modern appliances, including double ovens, an electric stovetop, and a Keurig K-Duo Single Serve & Carafe coffee maker. The large island facilitates both meal preparation and additional seating for four. A custom kitchen table with built-in benches invites shared meals and planning for the next day’s adventures.
For an extra touch of whimsy, an open-air loft is accessible via a charming spiral staircase. Tailored for families and friends, the loft offers four twin XL bunk beds, perfect for kids or the young at heart. Entertainment abounds with a sit-down arcade machine, a Star Wars pinball machine, an NBA Jam basketball arcade machine, and a 65-inch smart TV. A full bathroom dedicated to loft guests is conveniently located on the first floor.
Within the main house, a private suite serves as a peaceful retreat, featuring a comfortable king-sized bed with luxurious bedding, an en-suite bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower, a smart TV, and a dedicated desk for staying connected to work during the stay.
Venturing outside the main house reveals two additional private suites connected through a covered breezeway, each ensuring total privacy with separate doors equipped with smart locks. The breezeway is a spacious outdoor relaxation and entertainment area featuring a comfortable couch, chairs, and a stunning outdoor stone fireplace with a 55-inch smart TV. The outdoor space also includes a barbecue, an outdoor dining table, a ping pong table, and various games.
Backyard fun beckons with games like horseshoes, corn hole, and ladder golf. For younger guests, a swing set/fort by TreeFrogs promises hours of entertainment. A large picnic table and a fire pit for toasting marshmallows add to the outdoor delights. A covered deck hosts a large private hot tub.
Sawbuck Lodge ensures a hassle-free stay by providing smart TVs loaded with YouTubeTV, a starter kit, kitchen essentials, Keurig coffee makers, a full-size washer and dryer, gas fireplaces seasonally available from October to May 15, and various amenities like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryers, and more.
Pet-friendly, the lodge welcomes up to two dogs weighing up to 40 lbs each, with a non-refundable fee of $125 per pet. Please note the property’s use of exterior surveillance cameras and that Wi-Fi can be spotty in this rural area.

This was by far the most beautiful and peaceful places we have ever stayed! We celebrated our anniversary there with our kids and grandkids and everyone loved this cabin and the amazing amenities they absolutely went above and beyond with every detail. And the mountain views were just the icing on the cake!

My family of 5 and my in-laws stayed at this property recently and it was amazing! We were super impressed by all of the amenities and with how modern and clean it was. We were all really comfortable in our own spaces and I’d most definitely recommend staying here for your Hochatown/Broken Bow vacation.

We had a superior experience staying at Sawbuck Lodge. My husband, three boys (15 years and older), our two mini schnauzers and I all had a great time. The cabin is beautiful! The attention to detail to the construction, the finishes and appointments are truly luxury level. The layout works so well – plenty of spaces to gather together to eat, hang out, play games, indoors and out, but also the bedrooms and loft are very private when quiet time is needed. We enjoyed soft linens, plenty of towels, comfortable beds, and the best stocked kitchen I have ever experienced in a rental home. I actually packed my own spices, hand mixer, a sharp knife, and dog bowls, but come to find out, everything I needed was already provided – wow! This cabin has everything, and we did not want to leave. We will definitely be back!

This was our first stay at Sawbuck Lodge, which can only be described as “Luxury” in the woods! Six of us spent four nights in this awesome cabin. This cabin was immaculate, the linens, the bathrooms, and the refrigerator were spotlessly clean. We wanted for nothing. Although we did have one day of gentle rain the covered breezeway/patio allowed us to be outdoors but out of the rain. This breezeway had comfortable seating in front of a stone fireplace with a view to a large screen TV. We played Ping Pong and grilled on the gas grill while staying high and dry. A walkway led to a covered deck and heated Spa, steps led down to the backyard firepit where a couple of nights we sipped adult beverages, roasted marshmallow S’mores, and told tall tales over the firepit. During the clear days we challenged each other playing Cornhole and Horseshoes. The Breezeway separated two master suites from the main cabin. These two suites had king-sized beds that were super comfortable, full baths with walk-in showers, our suites had coffee makers and large flatscreen TVs (You Tube TV provided). The main cabin was huge with a spiral staircase leading to a gaming loft with 4 bunk beds. We didn’t have any children with us, but the loft provided Video gaming consoles and a Pinball machine which allowed us to be kids again. The main cabin like the breezeway had a floor to ceiling stone fireplace with TV, a fully equipped high-end Kitchen with granite counters & seating but also a dining area that seated several people, this along with another master suite, oh a washing machine and a dryer are also provided. We had an amazing stay; can’t wait till we can book again!
