Unwind in the living room, adorned with a large sofa, two leather chairs, a gas fireplace, a big-screen HDTV, and cozy throw blankets. Whether you’re curling up with the family for a TV session or basking in the sounds of nature on the back patio, this cabin offers the ideal escape.
The well-equipped kitchen and dining area cater to your culinary needs with a crockpot, toaster, blender, hand mixer, cutting boards, dinnerware, and a coffee bar featuring a Keurig coffee maker. Find an island bar seating 4, making it a delightful space for shared meals and gatherings.
The sleeping quarters are designed for comfort and relaxation. Master Bedroom #1 boasts a king-size bed, nightstands, a spacious 3-drawer dresser, big-screen HDTV, and direct patio access. Its ensuite master bathroom features double vanity sinks and a large walk-in shower. Meanwhile, Master Bedroom #2 offers another king-size bed, nightstands, a 3-drawer dresser, and direct patio access. The cozy Bunk Room #3 hosts a full-over-queen bunk bed and a small dresser. A shared full bathroom, conveniently between the bunk room and Master #2, features a large walk-in shower.
Step into the outdoor living space, where patio furniture seating 5, a gas fireplace, big-screen HDTV, gas grill, hot tub, and a firepit seating six invite you to unwind and connect with nature.
Practical amenities include a full-size washer and dryer in the laundry room. Note that gas fireplaces are seasonally available from October to May 15th. Any cancellations incurring a refund will have a $50 processing fee, and the maximum occupancy for this cabin is 8, with no exceptions.

A short drive takes you to Broken Bow Lake, Beavers Bend State Park, hiking trails, breweries, wineries, and downtown Hochatown. Dive into various outdoor activities, from boating, hiking, fly-fishing, and kayaking to zip-lining, ATV trails, horseback riding, mini-golf, and more.
As you plan your visit, consider bringing rain gear, light jackets, good hiking boots, water shoes, insect repellent, sunblock, and other first-aid supplies. Savor your morning coffee on the deck while enjoying the beautiful scenery. While a starter supply of coffee, filters, cream, sugar, salt, pepper, paper towels, toilet paper, bath soap, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, trash bags, and laundry soap is provided, guests may opt to bring additional supplies for a personalized and enjoyable stay at The Perfect Pause.

90% of total booking will be refunded if reservation is cancelled in writing for up to 35 days before arrival.

I recently stayed at The Perfect Pause the most enchanting cabin nestled deep in the woods, and it was an unforgettable experience. The cabin effortlessly combined rustic charm with modern comfort, featuring a cozy fireplace, plush bedding, and a fully equipped kitchen. Large windows offered stunning views of the surrounding forest, making it a perfect retreat for nature lovers. The outdoor hot tub was a highlight, providing a relaxing end to each day. The hosts were truly amazing, offering warm hospitality and thoughtful touches that made the stay even more special. They provided excellent local recommendations and were always available for any questions or needs. With its serene atmosphere, thoughtful amenities, and exceptional hosts, this cabin is an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Highly recommended!

The place was very nice, location was just North of the bustle of Hochatown and was super quiet, after enjoying a few days of that I don’t believe I’ll be dropping back south of Carter Mountain anymore for a Cabin. Host was super accommodating, overall really great time!!

All I can say is wow! My family and I had such an amazing stay. It was such a memorable trip. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. The kids loved the hot tub. Everyone had a great time. Thank you for making our Thanksgiving so memorable. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the Perfect Pause and it was perfect. Had everything we needed and more. It is decorated so cute with such a cozy feel. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with everything we needed! We will be back again! Highly recommend!
