Motivated by the camaraderie and affection shared among Dead Heads — the devoted enthusiasts of the Grateful Dead band — two brothers aspired to spread the delight and thrill of a live Dead concert experience. They discovered their vision in an abandoned schoolhouse in the Ouachita Mountains.

In 2010, they initiated vending pizza with a hippie flair and chilled drafts of beer, always complemented by the tunes of the Grateful Dead over the sound system. Before long, the duo of Grateful Dead aficionados encountered an equally groovy site in Hot Springs National Park.
