Star Creek Cabin

Star Creek Cabin has three bedrooms, two and a half baths and room for ten. It is about 1,700 square feet, wood-paneled from floor to ceiling, and it has a hot tub and a stone fire pit out in the trees.

The fire pit is a round ring of stone with blue Adirondack chairs set around it. The hot tub seats eight and sits under a wooden pergola, with Bluetooth speakers if you want music out there. You also get a 20 by 20 back deck, a porch with rocking chairs next to the red front door, and a covered spot with a big wooden table for eating outside. A charcoal grill and a picnic table are part of the setup.

The main floor is one open room under a pitched pine ceiling. There is a stone fireplace with a gas fire and a TV mounted over it, two brown sofas around a round coffee table, and a ceiling fan to keep the air moving. A heavy slab-wood table with matching benches sits by the front door, so dinner does not have to happen on the couch.

The kitchen has tile counters, a stainless range, a dishwasher, a microwave and a full-size refrigerator, plus an island with four black metal bar stools. There is a coffee maker, an ice maker on the counter, and cabinet space all the way around.

Two bedrooms are downstairs, each with a king bed on a log frame and a ceiling fan. One has a blue plaid and bear-print quilt, and the other has a gray plaid comforter. Up the stairs is the loft sleeping area. It has a twin-over-queen log bunk in the middle, a bed along each side wall, and an open space with a sofa and a TV. That is how the cabin gets to ten.

Two full bathrooms are on the main floor and there is a half bath upstairs, so a full house does not have to wait in line for the shower. Up to two dogs are allowed, and the cabin is in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, in the same part of the state as Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend State Park.
